BRECKON landdesign is a small landscape architecture design firm which provides a full range of services in the fields of landscape architecture, planning, storm water management, erosion control, irrigation, and graphic communication. We are seeking a hands-on, energetic, self-motivated, thorough individual who wants an opportunity to grow individually and professionally and who is dedicated to quality work. Candidates will have a minimum of 5-10+ years of experience and possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Responsibilities include working with clients and team members to maintain positive interaction in a project manager role, completing site inventory/analysis, developing designs and technical solutions, cost estimates, and directly participating in the production of high-quality construction documents, participating in construction site visits and construction administration, meeting schedules and budgets, and controlling quality are required.
Interested candidates must be flexible and willing to work independently, or in collaboration with junior and/or senior staff as required on a project-by-project basis, and will be responsible for coordinating with sub-consulting disciplines to lead integrated project delivery. They must possess a willingness to work on multiple, fast-paced projects at the same time and be dedicated to go the extra mile to serve and inspire clients.
AutoCAD proficiency and Windows software experience are required. Civil 3D skills, grading & drainage, and irrigation design experience are strongly recommended. Experience with Adobe Creative Suite products (Photoshop, Illustrator, In-Design), and SketchUp are a plus. Compensation is dependent on experience.
Degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited program.
Current landscape architectural license or actively pursuing licensure.
