BRECKON landdesign worked closely with the Idaho Department of Parks and Recreation, the National Park Service, and multiple other public agencies to develop a comprehensive master plan and design for this new 200-acre State Park and campground facility.
The State Park boasts a new park entry and monument, 1.4 mile entrance road, entry kiosk, and Visitor's Center and National Park Service museum/administrative offices. At full build out, the full-service, 50-unit campground will feature full hookups, emergency vehicle access, a water access point with fishing dock, a 20-acre arboretum, multi-use amphitheater, day-use area, RV group and tent camping sites, and approximately 12,000 feet of multi-use pathway that is integrated with Hagerman's existing pathway network. The project was completed in phases - the Visitor's Center was completed in the Spring of 2022 and the campground in 2024.
