Project Description
BRECKON landdesign partnered with Erstad Architects to complete this outdoor pavilion and learning center at the Anne Frank Memorial in downtown Boise. Care was taken to integrate the new pavilion with the existing memorial space, with use of similar materials and design components for a seamless transition. Revisions were made to existing portions of the site to accommodate the addition, including revised grading and drainage and demolition of existing asphalt, signage, curbs and concrete. Existing clay donor pavers were salvaged and relocated, and permeable pavers were utilized throughout the memorial. Construction documents included technical specifications, grading, drainage, stormwater pollution prevention plan, erosion and sediment control, pressurized irrigation, and landscape design.
