Project Description
BRECKON landdesign worked closely with the developer and third-party civil engineer to provide full landscape, site furnishing, irrigation and water feature design services for this 66-acre subdivision in Meridian, Idaho, completed in 2022. The development features common open spaces throughout, with one large, central open space directly adjacent to the pool, clubhouse and playground areas, and another that includes an amphitheater with a running creek with waterfalls, dispersed seating, boulder walls and retaining walls, a bridge, pathway and attractive fencing. The creek was also designed to reroute stormwater into a nearby pond. A landscaped berm wall provides visual and audible separation between the residences and busy Chinden Blvd. Phases One and Two were completed in 2022 and Phase Three in 2023. A future phase includes development of a commercial parcel on the corner of Black Cat and Chinden.
