Project Description
This LEED-certified municipal project encompassed design of a new police administration building and associated site improvements over an entire city block in downtown Nampa.
BRECKON landdesignteamed with LCA Architects, P.A., and provided design for the main plaza and streetscape improvements, along with detailing for all site amenities. These included seat walls, accessible pedestrian ramps, handrails, columns, steps, and concrete pavers. The landscape architectural scope of work also addressed signage, site lighting, and specification of site furnishings such as tree grates, trash receptacles and a retro-style town clock.
Landscape and irrigation design were provided as part of this project, as were grading and drainage plans that employed sustainable measures for stormwater accommodation, including vegetated swales.
